Sanctuary of Stones isn’t your average jewelry studio. The studio is owned and operated by Ashley Dale, Ph.D. scholar of Jung, philosophy, cosmology, and consciousness, GIA-trained gemologist, and stone medicine practitioner. She  handcrafts one-of-a-kind talismans made with only untreated, fine, natural gemstones, each selected for its vibrational potency and history of use in ancient and esoteric traditions. Forged from the sands of ancient Egypt, Desert Alchemy is a meeting of solar fire and timeless earth. The Libyan Desert Glass was created nearly 29 million years ago when a meteor struck the Sahara in a fusion of heaven and sand. Paired with royal Lapis Lazuli, rare Egyptian Sinai Turquoise, Red Jasper, and Carnelian, this piece channels the same palette and stones used in ancient Egyptian temple jewelry.

In the old alchemical language, this is the Citrinitas stage — awakening through illumination. Vibrationally, the stones carry a solar current: confidence, vitality, protection, and will. An exploration of how time reshapes and renews all things, a reflection on endurance, transformation, and the continual rebirth of beauty through the passage of ages. Anima Antiqua — Latin for “Ancient Soul” — features 2,000-year-old Roman glass beads, recovered by hand from the Saharan desert and the Silk Road. Some of these beads are the original fragments once used in ancient Roman jewelry, while others began as pieces of vessels that have been reshaped by modern artisans. Over centuries, wind and sand have turned them into iridescent relics that hold the energy of ancient craftsmanship.

Chrysocolla and Chrome Diopside reintroduce life to the piece through the green color of Earth’s renewal meeting the transparency of history. Roman glass connects to the element of air and memory; chrysocolla and diopside root it back into the breath and body. Together, they fuse civilization and nature, intellect and intuition, allowing the wearer to adorn themself with real historical artifacts crafted by ancient craftspeople.

Aurora of Sophia

A dawn of insight where light reveals what the darkness hides. Aurora of Sophia combines UV-reactive stones that glow under black light with heart-centered minerals that radiate love and clarity. Light pink Mangano Calcite is a rare variety of calcite that softens the emotional field; rough Ruby and Star Ruby ignite vitality; Yooperlite carries revelation, the spark of truth emerging through shadow; and Flower Lepidolite restores peace and calm through the vibration of lithium in the stone.
