Before it ever lived on garments, it lived in tattoo shops. Years spent working as a tattoo artist shaped how drawings were made and how they needed to function once they left the page. Tattooing teaches clarity early. A drawing has to read quickly. It has to hold its shape. It has to make sense on a moving body.

We work within a balanced range of studio practices and guidelines that reinforce the product rather than restrict it. That structure makes it possible to focus on stronger artwork, better design decisions, and collections that feel complete without forcing unnecessary tradeoffs.

They’re for artists, bands, and brands who want their merch handled with the same care given to our own collections, without needing to manage the logistics that come after production.

The test tees in this release were created slowly over the course of the year, built layer by layer during real studio sessions. Each shirt carries the rhythm of the print table, the dye work, and the projects that shaped the months leading up to Black Friday. These pieces are fully curated, hand dyed, and designed to look like the kind of test tees you might find at an old print shop, but elevated into intentional one-of-one garments.

As Ritual returns for the season, we’re sharing the process behind it: the dyes, the early prints, the all over compositions, the studio shifts, and how the collection grew into the form it takes today.

Humbles™ presents Studio Sessions, a new filmed project highlighting artists working from their own home studios. From painters and printers to musicians and makers, we are documenting the spaces where creativity happens. Applications are now open for artists in the Northeast United States.
