The Ritual of the Ritual Collection
A Yearly Evolution of Color, Process, and Handmade Tradition

In the ever searching process of meaning behind consciousness, we expand our minds with the Ritual Collection.
Ritual has always been one of the clearest reflections of what Humbles™ represents. Hand work, intuition, self reflection, and art influenced by psychedelic wellness. It is also our most requested collection. Every year people ask when Ritual is coming back, which is why it has become a tradition for us. We release this special collection for the holiday season every year, as a ritual unto itself.
This year we bring it back with what may be the strongest version yet. More color, more prints, and a full evolution of the Ritual identity. The Ritual Collection has never been a single graphic. It is a collection of illustrations. Ritual V1 includes four prints. Ritual V2 expands the collection with five new graphics in our recognizable flash style. Together they form a visual family that evolves each time we return to it.
What began as a small run of hand dyed tees in 2020 has grown into a yearly celebration of handmade streetwear, small batch dye work, and our signature flash aesthetic.
2020: Purple, Yellow, Green, & Orange
The First Ritual Collection v1
In an effort to expand on our early success with flash style graphics, we wanted to grow our catalog by offering a new stylistic approach. Ritual began in 2020 with a set of four prints that marked an intentional evolution in our art. The dyes used for this first collection carried the purple, yellow, green, and orange tones that defined the palette, while the prints themselves were rendered in solid black much like our earlier prints.
Each color also carried a distinct vibrational quality that shaped the feel of the early collection. Orange reflected vitality and creative ignition (cactus). Purple held depth and intuition (mushroom). Green supported harmony and embodied presence (marijuana). Yellow held illumination and conscious awareness (ayahuasca). These themes guided the palette and helped shape the overall feel of the 2020 Ritual release.
The result was a bold black image blasted over a washed out splash of color, much like a new tattoo laid over an older, faded sleeve. This connection to our tattoo shop roots became the thread that tied the early Humbles™ style together.

Introduction of Hoodies
Hand Dyed Solids and the Expansion into Outerwear
After the success of the first Ritual prints, the next natural step was bringing the artwork onto hoodies. This expanded the collection into colder weather pieces and pushed Ritual beyond tees.

On the blue hand dyed solid hoodies, white Ritual prints sit on a quiet marbled dye pattern. Tonal shifts along seams reveal natural dye movement while the heavier cotton supports the artwork.
Hand dyed solids carry natural variations that make them more than standard garment dyed pieces. They sit somewhere between DIY and manufacturing, holding the organic unpredictability of hand work with the structure of a finished garment.
The All Over Prints
Chaos or Coincidence?
The Ritual Collection also gave rise to a series of all over prints created in the studio. Much like the layered test prints you might find in the scrap bin of a local print shop, these pieces capture overlapping graphics, shifting textures, and drifting color. Unlike true test pulls, these compositions were curated with intention.
The all over prints showcase layered Ritual graphics arranged with intention, mixing bold colored dyes in a way that echoes the raw beauty of print shop test pulls.

These all over pieces sit between chaos and coincidence. Shapes collide, lines overlap, and colors blend in ways that feel accidental, yet every placement is intentional. We have created Ritual specific all over prints on both hoodies and tees as a reflection of each year’s body of work.
Ritual Deluxe
Two Color Prints and Split Fountain Effects
Ritual Deluxe introduced two color interpretations of the Ritual prints. This version added depth and movement through blended inks and split fountain gradients.

These Ritual Deluxe pieces show a rainbow split fountain interacting within each design. Split fountain gradients create natural variation and motion across the artwork.
Ritual Deluxe expanded the identity while staying true to the original design language.
Ritual v2
The Five Print Expansion
Ritual V2 expanded the system to five prints, returning fully to our roots in flash style layouts. This version grew the collection with new illustrations that honored the original structure while pushing the artwork forward. Ritual V2 was first printed in bold colors on our classic ivory blanks.

The Ritual V2 LSD print, shown here in bold colors on our classic ivory blanks, introduces one of the key new subjects added to expand the collection.
V2 widened the Ritual story without breaking the established identity.
Where We Are Now
Highlighter Ritual and New Hand Dyed Long Sleeves
The 2025 holiday release brings Ritual into its most expressive phase. This year we are offering hand colored highlighter versions of both V1 and V2, paired with new hand dyed long sleeves in fresh colorways.
These images focus on the hand applied highlighter fills. Subtle shifts in stroke and color sit over crisp line work, supported by soft subtle dyed long sleeves crafted for the 2025 palette.
This version blends illustration, color, dye, and hand work into the most complete interpretation of Ritual yet.
A Collection That Has Become Its Own Ritual
Ritual began with four prints in 2020. It expanded into hoodies, long sleeves, socks, hats, cups, shorts, and pants. It evolved into two color prints and split fountain gradients. It grew into a five print system with V2. And now it returns in hand colored highlighter versions and new dye palettes for 2025.
It is our most requested collection, and each version reflects the growth of the studio. This season may be the strongest yet.
We bring it back every holiday season as a ritual of its own. A yearly reflection of our hand, our studio, and the evolution of our work.
