About the Process

Highlighter embellishment is one of the most hands-on things we do in the studio. After each shirt comes off the press it gets colored by hand with permanent markers, one at a time. The graphic stays intact. The color adds presence, depth, and variation without changing what the drawing is doing.

All graphics are hand drawn Humbles™ originals, drawn in the studio over years of working with print, fabric, and illustration together.

This is not something you can rush or mass produce. It relies on time, attention, and familiarity with the work. Each one different from the last.

It does not get more handmade than this.

Every garment is printed and finished in-house at the Humbles™ studio in Trenton, NJ, ensuring the integrity of the work remains intact from blank to final piece.
